It is with great delight I share with you that I have completed the manuscript for my new book to be released at the beginning of 2018 called Last Impressions: A Medium’s Cherished Messages from Spirit. I will be sharing passages from the book for my next few newsletters, including this one. The purpose of Lasting Impressions is to show my appreciation to the spirit world and commemorate my twenty-five inspiring years as a professional intuitive medium. The purpose of this book is threefold. Besides commemorating my twenty-five inspiring years as a professional intuitive medium, I want to show my appreciation to the spirit world. In addition, I’d like to share what I’ve learned and give others a better understanding of this spiritual realm and my communication process.

As an intuitive medium, I’ve learned to more clearly understand, firsthand from higher levels of consciousness, the purpose and meaning of life and the laws of nature. It’s been my great pleasure to be reminded that consciousness survives the death of the physical body because our souls are eternal and divine. To sense the presence of a spirit I can’t see with my physical eyes, hear with my ears, or touch with my hands is nothing short of astonishing. To be able to communicate with loved ones from the spirit world is one of my greatest achievements; to share their healing and inspiring messages of gratitude, encouragement, loving kindness, and forgiveness is one of my greatest joys.

The magnificence of mediumship is reflected in the brilliant wisdom, expansive understanding, and affectionate feeling of thoughtfulness it offers those open to receive it. My responsibility as an intuitive medium is to blend my higher consciousness with the consciousness of loved ones in spirit and deliver their messages with precision, purpose, and reason.

The process of mediumship intermingles four main aspects: the medium, the sitter (the person receiving the reading), the spirits, and the messages. The following parts of this book address each area in turn to help you better appreciate the mechanics of a reading and my philosophy of mediumship. I hope this approach will also help you get the most out of a reading, should you choose to experience one.

Optimal spirit communication occurs when the spirit, the sitter, and the medium are focused, present, and completely open. This synergy increases the likelihood that the message will be strong, clearly received, and well understood.

In each of the following parts, I share stories of readings that gifted the sitters and me with precious messages of kindheartedness and inspired wisdom. These clients have given me permission to provide evidence and insights from the messages they received. I’ve altered their names and intermixed readings to protect each sitter’s identity and emphasize specific ideas and comparable thoughts. My intention is to clarify the purpose of mediumship, and most important, the various types of messages received. I have not exaggerated or changed the messages as I remember them to the best of my ability. I wish to sincerely share with you the bewildering process of mediumship and how truly healing messages from the world of spirit can be.

Writing Lasting Impressions strengthened my gratefulness for the miraculous messages received from spirit over the years. As I reflected on my experiences as an intuitive medium, I realized how spiritually mystical and divine each soul is, and that souls maintain an everlasting connection.
